Yellow: The color of early summer in the Sonoran Desert

During April and May, the desert is awash with yellow.
Hillsides glow, trees are laden with flowers. Bees rejoice.
Mesquite blossoms
Prickly pear cactus blossoms
Coyote melons
(Squirrel snack, coyote melon)
